Concrete & Carnal was an exhibition held by the Bedroom Artists Collective [ 1 ] and in counterpoint to the open call exhibitions for the whole collective, was focused around a thematic tension, that between the concepts and associations of the concrete and the carnal.

The curation was an exercise in visual balance, complex symmetries, and contrasts. There were submissions in multiple media, so considerations were made as to connections of volume and movement within the confined space.
