Crowd Control [ 1 ] was a month long interdisciplinary experiment creatively exploring the collective interactions between individuals, groups and their environments.

By connecting visual, digital and performance art practices with contemporary scientific research and urban design , Crowd Control explored human communication, cooperation and collective intelligence in Hackney Wick, East London.

The collaborative platform was established by Heather Barnett and the Arebyte Gallery [ 2 ] in Hackney Wick, it will be featured in a Viceland Documentary on Collective Intelligence.

As well as creating a series of graphic explaining the different games and the theoretical principles behind them, I also collaborated with Andreas Philipopolous Mikalopolous a scholar at  the Westminster Law and theory Lab [ 3 ]

In collaboration we designed a game 'Escaping the Lawscape' which uses social media documentation [ 4 ] and gaming mechanics.

It aims to find a new medium through which participants can reconsider and reacquaint themselves with the intangible network of consensus and expectation that operates upon us as we move through shared social spaces.

For the Crowd Control: Testing Station Exhibition i contributed a sculptural form exploring the patterns manifest through the collective behaviour of human being in the urban environment.
