A series of drawings and paintings focusing on the fractal geometries that underpin natural forms.

Whether the structure of mountains, muscles, rivers or circulation systems, finding echoes of human structures outside the self challenges our conception of a bounded identity and marks us as part of larger process.

¬ SUMMARY

This series used only black and white in order to heighten attention to patterned form as opposed to coloured surface.

It also uses linear abstraction to draw attention to these forms, as often the edges of things blend seamlessly in the variety of material, making the organisational structures harder to perceive.
